How to use Compress to size

  2. Enter the maximum size in KB.

Formats and limits

JPG, PNG, and WebP input; JPG output. Up to 25 MB and 24 megapixels. Target range: 1–25,600 KB; 1 KB is 1,024 bytes.

What to expect

The tool searches for JPG quality that meets the limit without changing dimensions. It reports an error if the target is too small. Resize the image first if necessary. Transparent areas become white.
